We could not be happier with the work from Mac Kitchens! Doug and his team were professional from the time we had our initial conversation right to the very end of our project. Communication was great, the timeline was kept, workers were polite and meticulous, and we could not be happier with the results. Doug added a mudroom off of our kitchen, did a complete remodel of our kitchen, opened and enlarged doorways, put in hardwood floors and updated two bathrooms. The project ran smoothly because he knew how to manage it even in this time of supply-chain issues. We had no surprises because the communication was excellent. Doug listened and helped problem-solve when glitches occurred, and advocated for us when some subcontractor work wasn't acceptable. Truly a company that exemplifies quality and professionalism.

We love our kitchen, which included a full remodel with the laundry and pantry removed and the laundry moved upstairs. Doug was very responsive and always answered my calls and text messages. The contractors he uses are respectful of your space and privacy, and their expertise was amazing — not to mention their cleanliness. The final design Doug helped me with is amazing. It's more than I expected could be done. The flow of the island and the final details of crown molding and lighting highlight the entire project. I highly recommend MacKitchens.

MacKitchens and Doug MacGeorge did a beautiful job with our kitchen remodel. Doug was very responsive to our needs, listened to what we had to say, and came up with a design that was perfect. His contractors were excellent, got things done on time, and the project was finished on budget and on time. Doug is very creative and appears to love what he does. We hired MacKITCHENS to remodel our kitchen, half bath and laundry room cabinets, and couldn't be happier with the results. Doug is wonderful to work with and very responsive. He is extremely talented with design, and had many great suggestions, making our kitchen not only beautiful but functional and efficient. Considering the remodel took place during a pandemic, the whole process went amazingly well! The team he works with are the nicest and hardest-working group of guys. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and we are beyond thrilled with our new kitchen and bathroom.

Both times Doug did an excellent job. Very talented in designing kitchens — he also remodeled our bathroom and did a fantastic job. Doug is punctual, thorough, and personal. His prices and quality of work are the best around. Doug gets an A-plus in all categories. I get compliments on his work all the time. Smaller companies are much better than the bigger ones — more personal, and you get top-notch quality work.

From design through installation, Doug was fantastic to work with. His design of our remodel was exactly what we were looking for, and the end result was even better than we could have hoped for. His attention to detail and work is top-notch. When we have family and friends over, they absolutely love our new rooms. After five weeks of flawlessly planned downstairs rehab… we are finished — one week early! MacKitchens was INCREDIBLE. The project was a huge success. Doug was very easy to do business with, and his attention to detail was much appreciated. He was always responsive to my questions and never pressured me — in fact he spent a lot of time helping me put together my vision and providing prompt pricing even before I signed the contract. The schedule fell into place as promised, and I had my new kitchen after Thanksgiving and before Christmas. Definitely the type of contractor I would recommend to anyone.

We are thrilled with our new kitchen and laundry room — new glass slider, new windows, tile floor, new cabinets, quartz countertop and new lighting, all done in just six weeks! Excellent, and on schedule. Trustworthy workers and professionalism among the contractors. Doug coordinated the whole thing and I was without worry. I did a rustic-industrial blend with knotty alder cabinets, cork floor and copper accents, and he executed everything. He responds to phone calls and texts! I didn't want a contractor, I wanted a kitchen pro, and local. He does it all — custom builds and designs — and is a great talent. He meets the budget you determine.

The owner did an excellent job replacing our existing cabinets based on our needs and budget. Work was professionally done by Doug, Junior, and the countertop guys. We had easy access to call or text with questions, which were attended to promptly. Workers were respectful of our home, cleaning up each day and hauling away trash at the end. The job was completed efficiently and in less time than we expected. Our kitchen looks beautifully updated. We would recommend MacKitchens for bathrooms as well!

The final product was better than we could imagine. Doug's vision and attention to detail hit every item on our list from a design perspective. He understood our situation with moving across country, and throughout the process we were kept informed and felt at ease that our project would be completed on time. Everyone who comes into my home thinks the kitchen is wonderful. I would highly recommend Mac Kitchens. My kitchen was small to medium, but Doug can do anything from a small kitchen to a huge kitchen. His pricing was reasonable and fair. Thank you, Doug, for all of your hard work.

Extremely happy with both the quality of the cabinets and the installation. As a carpenter himself, Doug pays close attention to the details to ensure the installation produces the desired results.

Doug came up with a floor plan that merged the kitchen and dining room. His design was by far the best of all the contractors we visited, and his top-notch design program let us see exactly what it would look like in advance. His warm, friendly personality combined with his outstanding knowledge of his craft serves him well. He was extremely courteous, attentive, and professional throughout. The result was outstanding — we love our kitchen!

From the beginning, my husband and I both felt that Doug was someone we could trust with remodeling our kitchen. Doug, Junior and the crew were punctual, friendly and cleaned up before leaving. Best kitchen designer/carpenter ever! We absolutely love our kitchen. We've built three houses and never had a contractor as meticulous as Doug. He truly cares about your kitchen and making the customer happy — when I had a complaint, he was right there to fix it himself. He does it all, design and carpentry. The crown molding is amazing, perfect! He goes above and beyond for customer satisfaction. As his yard sign says: Quality, Quality, Quality. Top notch all around!

Very punctual, and kept to the schedule even through two snow storms. Almost four years later it still looks brand new, and we still get compliments from all our friends. One of the hinges broke and when I contacted Doug, he responded almost immediately — four years later, he remembered us and promptly sent a replacement. We enjoy working with family businesses, not the big retailers. Highly recommend Doug for any remodeling plans.
